OUTREACH AMBASSADORS
Get personally involved with the LN-4 prosthetic hand project - team up your club with another Rotary Club in another location that may have a population of people who would benefit from the LN-4 hand; together the two clubs will first, identify the people have lost a hand, who want the LN-4 and, second, deliver it to them.
1. We may invite you to carry a "demo" LN-4 hand with you to a visit to another Rotary club when you travel.
2. We may invite you to speak about the LN-4 work when you visit another distant Rotary Club and to establish a connection to that club's leadership - with the goal of starting a new LN-4 project.
3. We may invite you to join one of our Ambassador Seminars, where we learn how to extend the work of delivering LN-4 hands to those who will benefit.
In each of our clubs we have members who travel to far away places - work with these members to contact or visit a potential partner Rotary club and request meeting time to make a brief pitch - a proposal - to have your two clubs work together and to bring LN-4 prosthetics to those who need and can benefit.
The LN-4 hands are always provided at no cost to recipients. We currently have an inventory of LN-4 available for fitting and distribution, due to gracious, generous support of Rotary clubs and others who have provided the funds for manufacture and assembly of these LN-4 prosthetics.
We provide materials and guidance to assist in the, essential, pre-qualification effort. We also provide complete LN-4 training to the team who will travel to deliver and fit LN-4s on recipients; of course we supply all the materals and support you will need.
This project will change everyone in the two clubs who are willing to be involved. And everyone will get involved.
FUNDRAISING AMBASSADORS
The LN-4 foundation, our efforts to distribute the current LN-4, plus design and produce the next generation of LN-4 requires fund raising.
If you have an interest, and are capable of doing this sort of marketing, either through Rotary Clubs in your area or through other organizations and businesses, we welcome you to the LN-4 team.
We offer trainng and materials to start you out - so you will know about our projects, our story and needs of the organization. We can arrange for you to work with other LN-4 volunteers who already visit clubs and groups to initiate and create support for this amazing, project.
The LN-4 project, including the manufacture, assembly and especially the work of delivering these low cost, functional prosthetics around the globe communicates itself immediately to your audience. This activity is essential to make the connection to actually bring that support to the LN-4 organization.
YOUTH AMBASSADORS
This is simply the same as described above, but especially focusing on Interact Clubs, Rotaract Clubs, church youth groups, leadership groups and all others who may have heard about this work and want to learn more and find a way to support this work and be involved.
Flexibility is essential, as each inquiry is completely different and fantastic.
